Coastal forms provide us with a wealth of inspiration for creative work! From rugged beaches, to pretty harbours, beach treasures and the play of light on water, there is so much we can respond to. In this course we will look at seascapes and shapes of the land as well as looking at water and coastal ephemera to create an experimental body of work in a range of techniques.
This course allows time for discovering techniques, experimenting and learning to work in an expressive style with freedom. Tasks are designed to introduce you to a wide range of materials and to build confidence in combining these to create exciting, creative effects.

This is a friendly and supportive way to enjoy making art you love with the support of an experienced teacher. We will share ideas within the group and help each other as we develop an exciting body of work which can be continued outside the studio.
